I was born and raised in Ghana. The last time I literally saw my mother was 11 years ago. My mom landed in NYC and I will be traveling from the City to upstate Syracuse to see her on Christmas. I'm not emotionally prepared but very very excited. The last she saw me I was 13. I'm now 25.
