I teach at a middle school. I never hide the fact that I'm a über nerd from my kids. Today, for my birthday, one of my crafty kiddos gave me this. She said I make her feel like it's ok to be herself and be nerdy. She's may not remember facts from my class, but damn, I'm proud I taught her that.
